She always makes me feel delighted upon wearing it,

so name it as "Joy"~~

 

 

 

Whisper to Lace-Bronwyn (Pendant)

Bronwyn, it is name for a lady from Australia , my client.

She is elegant and unique, I knew it from those items she bought;

She is thoughtful and nice, I knew it from the communication between us.

How should I design the special gift for her?  After one night of sleeplessness,

This work comes out--- a new style pendant necklace.

I do not want to forget the process of design, so name this work after Bronwyn…..

Beaded lace will make a friend with copper wire,

Because beautiful flowers still need the stems to hold them up…..

Beautiful mellifluent woman,

Your smile is always recalled,

Your scent always flows,

Your footprints full occupied on those places where we have traveled together,

Chilled winter is pushed away by warm breeze,

new buds come cout from boughs, 

flowers kiss on the grounds to say:

When she lie on your neck,

like as a dancing brook,

flow gently, flow gently……

Ancient Byzantium has been gone away……

 

Where do we seek for them? 

From books, from people memory, from monuments.

 

What is the costume tradition of Byzantine Empire ?

Being richer in color and ornamentation, glittering with gold embroidery and

jewels sewn onto the fabric.

The inspiration of this work came from  the fashion show of Chanel for pre fall 2011.

I tried to use many Japanese seed beads and SW crystal beads to capture the tone of

gallant and splendid from the ancient Byzantium.

Accepting my brother's suggestion to use more gemstone for my handmade lace jewelry,

that will increase the perception value from the client's point of view. 

For this work, I use the tiny freshwater rice pearls and chalcedony faceted heart

 briolettes, after such arrangement, it will present the elegant and unique look.....
